The purpose of the Talk Box is to give parents suggestions to help create language-rich environments at home, in the park, at the mall, or anywhere. It is meant to be a resource for any parent. It is not meant to be a substitute for a speech-language pathologist.

Children need to be good communicators to be successful in day to day living. Parents play an extremely important role in helping their children become good communicators. These “Talking is Key” 12 minute videos show examples of children from 3 months to 5 years of age. You can follow the development of speech and language skills throughout these ages. You will also learn everyday tips of how parents help children learn language at each age.
The Talking is Key DVD is available in English and 11 additional voice overs. Watch the Talking is Key videos below.
